Scene 1: Dorm Room - Morning
(Tom is trying to get ready for class, but everything goes wrong. Lily is sitting on her bed, reading a book.)
Tom: (yelling) Oh no! My alarm didn’t go off! I’m gonna be late again!
Lily: (without looking up) You’re always late. Just accept it.
Tom: No, this time is different! I have an important meeting with the professor!
Lily: Oh, really? What’s it about?
Tom: He said something about “academic integrity” and “zero tolerance.”
Lily: That sounds like a warning.
Mike: (bursting into the room) Hey, Tom! Did you forget your pants again?
Tom: (looking down) Uh… I was in a hurry!
Lily: You were wearing them last night.
Tom: Well, I thought they were clean.
Jack: (from the doorway) You look like a lost puppy.
Tom: I am not a puppy! I’m a college student!
Emma: (entering the room) What’s going on here?
Sarah: (following behind) We heard loud noises.
Tom: I just got up and my life is already a mess.
Emma: Well, we need to start the orientation today. You guys are all late.
Mike: But it’s only 8 AM!
Emma: It’s 8:05 AM. And you’re already late.
Lily: So what’s the big deal?
Emma: The big deal is that we have a presentation on campus culture, and you’re all supposed to be there.
Jack: Can we at least have coffee first?
Emma: No. We’re leaving now.
Tom: Wait! I can’t go like this!
Lily: You look fine.
Tom: I’m still wearing pajamas!
Mike: Then take them off and put on your shirt.
Tom: That’s not how it works!
Scene 2: Campus Hallway - Later that Day
(The group is walking together. Emma is leading the way, while Jack keeps making jokes.)
Jack: You know, I heard that if you walk fast enough, you can outrun your problems.
Mike: Yeah, or just run into a wall.
Jack: That’s the spirit!
Emma: Jack, please stop talking. We have a schedule to follow.
Sarah: I think I’m lost.
Lily: You’re not lost. You’re just confused.
Sarah: I’m not confused. I just don’t know where we’re going.
Tom: I think we’re going to the library.
Emma: Yes, we are. And we have 10 minutes to get there.
Mike: Ten minutes? That’s not enough time to eat a sandwich.
Lily: Maybe you should skip breakfast.
Mike: That’s not funny.
Jack: I think I saw the library from the window.
Tom: Which window?
Jack: The one with the broken glass.
Emma: Great. Now we have to find our way through a broken window.
Lily: This is worse than my nightmare.
Tom: I had a dream that I was in a math class and I couldn’t solve any problem.
Mike: That’s not a nightmare. That’s your life.
Emma: Everyone, focus! We’re almost there.
Sarah: I think I see it!
Jack: That’s a tree.
Emma: No, that’s the library.
Tom: Are you sure?
Emma: Yes, I’ve been here before.
Mike: Okay, let’s go.
(They all walk toward the building, but then realize they’re in the wrong place.)
Lily: Wait, this isn’t the library.
Emma: It’s the gym.
Jack: Oh, cool! There’s a basketball court!
Tom: I don’t want to play basketball. I just want to study.
Mike: Too bad. You’re stuck with us.
Lily: Welcome to college life.
Scene 3: Library - Afternoon
(The group finally arrives at the library. They sit down, tired and confused.)
Emma: Alright, let’s start the presentation.
Jack: I’m ready to learn something new.
Mike: Or maybe just fall asleep.
Lily: Don’t worry, I’ll wake you up.
Tom: I just want to finish this class without getting kicked out.
Sarah: I think I’m going to pass out.
Emma: Let’s begin. First, the importance of time management.
Jack: Time management? I don’t need that. I just sleep when I’m tired.
Mike: That’s not a plan.
Emma: It’s not a plan. It’s a disaster.
Tom: I agree. I tried that once and I missed my exam.
Lily: You missed your exam because you overslept.
Tom: I had a dream that I was a famous actor.
Jack: That’s not a good excuse.
Emma: Okay, moving on. Next topic: teamwork.
Mike: Teamwork is easy. Just do nothing and let others work.
Lily: That’s not teamwork. That’s laziness.
Sarah: I think I understand.
Tom: I think I’m starting to get it.
Emma: Good. Now, let’s wrap up.
Jack: I learned something today.
Mike: What?
Jack: Never trust a campus map.
Everyone: (laughing)
Emma: Alright, class is over. See you next time.
Tom: I hope I make it.
Lily: You will. As long as you don’t wear your pajamas again.
Mike: And don’t talk to the trees.
Jack: Or the broken windows.
All: (laughing) Goodbye!
(Curtain closes.)
